EDIT: The UPS driver won. Yee-haa!
So I’m sitting here at the house, waiting on the phone call from work and also waiting on the UPS delivery driver. I have a few things that are coming from Amazon.com and I’m really hoping that they get here earlier rather than later. I’d like to be able to take a look at the merchandise before I have to go to work.
That basically means that it’s now officially a race between my dispatchers and UPS.
On a relevant note, I lost my jacket the other day. I walked into a restroom at a local convenience store and pulled it off in order to “do my business” and left it inside the restroom. I didn’t even realize that I didn’t have it until I was most of the way home. I went back the next day and the morning shift said that I will have to talk to the evening shift about it since that’s when it happened. When I went back for the evening shift they said they knew nothing about it.
The reason that it’s relevant is because I’ve ordered a replacement for that jacket. That order should be here today. It is literally one of the features of Amazon that I like the most: buy it again. I like being able to go through my history, press one button and be able to purchase the same item that I’ve already purchased all over again.
That’s another reason that I hope the UPS driver beats the dispatchers today. It would be nice to have that jacket before I have to go to work.
