Well, here we are. Another day, another dollar. My first trip was relatively short. We stopped at a little place we call Dockery.

Basically, without giving away trade secrets, you drive into a subdivision. Then by someone’s driveway there’s a gravel road leading off into the bushes, which leads to the railroad tracks which, following the muddy gravel road next to the tracks in the woods, takes us to the train.

This job definitely takes you to some strange places. Most people I talk to about my job assume we only pick up at yards or street-accessible crossings. Nope. This included image was taken at night in the middle at a common stop point for trains we call South Tunnel. Well, I was going to include the image, but for the life of me I can’t seem to find it.

Instead, here’s a shot from near a drop point in Kentucky.
Another shot in Kentucky.
Last pic, one of the Atlanta skyline.
