The war was intense. Bodies were strewn across the battlefield. Only the most elite remained. In the end, everyone was dead, fighting to a draw, no one remained. Johnny and Grammy reflected on their situation; the battle was over, but the war would continue later.
As you can guess, we have the grandkids this morning 😄. It’s been loud and fun. Johnny has been warring with ninjas and pirates, but poor Susanna hasn’t been feeling well today so she has spent all morning laying down on the couch.
I have a few things to get done today but they will wait for the grandkids. At the time of the end of all things, I won’t be reflecting on my honey-do lists or my job. I’ll be remembering my times like this. That’s what makes times like this all the more important.

Susanna finally got up for a second and asked for my stuffed Hello Kitty. Yes, it’s mine. I actually bought it as a pillow supplement at one point because I needed more head support, but was too cheap to get a new pillow. Ergo, kitty.
I later got a new pillow and set the stuffed monstrosity aside for Susanna or other kids to play with.
