It’s that time of the year when I get to wish my best friend a Happy Birthday once again! I refuse to tell her age, but I can say that she has managed to make approximately 19,345 laps around the celestial sun since her introduction to the rest of the solar system. That’s about 30,952,000,000 miles, which is only 0.0052657724788 times the speed of light measured in miles per lifetime. I’m certain she appreciates all the math.
She has been the one person that I can and will always turn to in times of need. She is my confidante, my partner in crime, my everything. I cannot begin to imagine what life would have been like without her by my side all of this time. That’s when you know it’s right, when you know that your history is set in stone and you’re happy with that story.
Happy birthday, sweetie. Even though I am not feeling the best today, I really hope you have the best birthday ever, especially after getting that early AM phone call from Rebekkah wishing you that happy birthday earlier today! Love you always. 🙂
