So here it is, two days after the 4th of July, and I’m just now getting around to adding a new post. I don’t really have an excuse for why it took me so long to start writing again. I have however had a lot of things happen.
First off, I have a new camera. I finally have a cinema quality camera (albeit a low-end model), and learning how to use it takes a little time. I’m looking forward to shooting a full movie with it. We have several that are in the works and a few that are in line in order to be shot, but nothing definitive as far as a set date in the schedule.
Also, my potato got older. So there’s that. Happy birthday potato!
Let’s see, is there anything else worth noting before I close out for the day? Oh yes. I did not get the job at Norfolk Southern. I don’t think I’m ready to get into all the details on that. It’s a lot to unpack.
So I guess we’ll just close out the day with a quote from me. “It’s the little things that we do in life that we remember the most; it’s the time we share together with family and friends that will hold on to more than anything else.”
